Where Creative Passions Become Life-Changing Journeys

There's a comfort in sticking to the craft you already know.

But some of the best creative discoveries happen when you step just slightly outside it — the quilter who tries polymer clay for the first time, the painter who discovers eco printing, the crocheter who picks up a paintbrush on a whim.

On Tuesday you get three days to do exactly that, with the person who teaches it sitting right there with you.

Starts This Tuesday · Free to Attend

Back-to-Creativity Summit

The Back-to-Creativity Summit

📅 Tuesday–Thursday, August 18–20  |  🕘 9:00 AM EDT each day  |  💻 100% Online  |  🎟 Free to Attend

The cheapest way to find out whether a new medium is for you is to try it once with an expert next to you, before you spend anything on supplies. That's what these three days are for.

A few of the sessions waiting for you:

💍  Polymer Clay Terrazzo Technique Earrings — Karla Fox

🌸  Beginner Friendly Folk Flower Polymer Clay Arch Earrings — Jaime Pickering

🔗  Build Your Own Polymer Clay Charm Bar — Erin Hantzmon

🌿  Simple Eco Printing for Beautiful Home Textiles — Nicola Brown

👜  7 Creative & Stylish Painted Tote Bags With Everyday Paints — Jasmine Dhillon

That's on top of a full lineup covering quilting, embroidery, macramé, and more. Registration is free and takes about thirty seconds, and I'd grab your spot today so you're not scrambling on Tuesday morning.

This Week's Creative Pick

Polymer Clay, Mixed Media & Textile Art — Beyond the Paintbrush

Beyond the Paintbrush: Exploring Polymer Clay, Mixed Media & Textile Art

If you want a little more before Tuesday, this week's post walks through the three mediums those sessions cover.

Polymer clay is one of the easiest new mediums to try, mostly because it cures in a home oven. No kiln, no special equipment. A few colors of clay, a rolling tool, some cutters, and earring hardware is all it takes to make something wearable.

Mixed media is a little different, because it's less about mastering one technique and more about combining whatever gets the idea across — paint layered with fabric, collage layered with stitching. And if textiles are more your speed, eco printing transfers the color and shape of real leaves and flowers onto fabric using heat, so every piece comes out a little different.
