Where Creative Passions Become Life-Changing Journeys
There's a specific kind of stuck that happens with a blank Procreate canvas. You open the app, Apple Pencil in hand, and then... nothing. Too many brushes, too many buttons, no idea where to tap first.
That stuck feeling isn't a sign you're not cut out for digital art. It just means nobody's walked you through the basics yet.
So this week, we did. And on Tuesday, we're doing a whole lot more of it — free, for three days. More on that below.

Procreate for Complete Beginners
Procreate's reputation for being powerful is exactly what makes it feel intimidating. But you only need a handful of things to start making art you're proud of: set up your canvas, pick a brush, understand layers, learn two gestures.
Layers are the one worth slowing down for. Think of them as clear sheets stacked on your drawing — sketch on one, line art on another, color on a third. Fix a mistake on one without touching the rest.
Quick tip: pinch to zoom, two fingers to undo, three to redo. Those three gestures will save you more time than any brush setting.
